The wood construction allows ultimate comfort in rough and choppy waters which translates to greater edge control for jumping big and for loaded freestyle takeoffs.

Great all around intermediate board. I have the previous model and rode it for years. Very durable and has good flex and upwind performance. Great for a rider learning new tricks and also wants to have ease in smaller waves and chop. Best performance board for the money. Good step up from riders who stated on the Cabrinha spectrum board.
