2012 Cabrinha Switchblade IDS Quicklink Freeride ands Wakestyle Kite

Some of the 2012 Switchblade's featured refinements consist of a newly repositioned and retuned bridle design, improved kite balance, a lighter overall feel, and a custom tuning feature that enables the rider to choose between the wake and freeride settings. The freeride setting offers lighter bar pressure and the wake setting makes the kite a bit more stable and requires more bar impulse to initiate turning. The Switchblade was also built with a new cutting edge canopy material. This new material is initially treated with stablizing resins and then additionally coated with a Cabrinha exclusive formula which provides the kite with the most durable hi performance canopy possible. Also included with on the 2012 Switchblade kites are Cabrinha's stainless steel bridle guides, which completely eliminates the presence of pulleys on the kite, the SPRINT single point rapid inflation system and Cabrinha's IDS safety system which has become the industries benchmark for kite security systems.

New for 2012 is Cabrinha's Quicklink IDS Control System, which comes standard on all 2012 Cabrinha kites. The new Quicklink control system which still features Cabrinha’s industry leading IDS Security System and the ability to have the front flying lines, landing line and leash connection to be all 100% free spinning. After the IDS Push Release has been deployed, the rider is still connected to the completely flagged out and depowered kite. Next, the rider has the option to deploy the second release if needed, which will completely separate the rider from the kite. The 2012 Quicklink has also been outfitted with a new larger control system center line hole that provides easier steering and trimming. Also updated for 2012 are the line winders that now include a new branded Cabrinha appearance.
